On this page you will find a collection of different styles of music from around the world, or music that inspires me in general. I would love to add all your videos to this page too, so we have a collection of videos that inspire us all.
Send me one or two Youtube video links to post on the website with a couple sentences about it. For Example: You can teach us about the cultural importance of the music, the history, or why it inspires you in general.
Send the video link to [email protected]. When I post the video it will be anonymous. The video you send me must be appropriate for all ages to view.

Video #2: DakhaBrakha - Kiev Ukraine
DakhaBrakha is an ensemble from Kiev, Ukraine. They blend ancient Ukrainian pagan language, rhythm, and singing to create their unforgettable sound. My Family immigrated from Ukraine in the late 1800's and I have always been drawn to the music of my culture and how it sounded before Christianity was introduced to Ukraine in 998. Ukrainian music is a blend of styles from Northern Asia (Romani "Gypsy" migration from Northern India), Mongolian, Turkish, and Nordic settlers in Kiev.

"I picked this video because it shows how people can make music with ice; it takes a lot of time to prepare for each concert and they still keep doing it, and that takes real dedication. They do it because they really love music and that’s what drives them.
